Christine Bartley, LCSW

Christine Bartley is a clinical social worker in private practice with extensive experience treating eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and body image issues in adolescents, teens, and adults. Her experience ranges from the Yale Child Study Center working with anxiety disorders to UConn’s Counseling and Mental Health Clinic providing therapeutic support to college students for a range of issues. Christine most recently worked for Walden Behavioral Care for nearly 3 years treating a wide variety of eating disorder behaviors in patients of all ages, with a special focus in Family Based Treatment (Maudsley Approach).

In addition to FBT, Christine uses elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Systems-Focused treatment, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy in her work, though ultimately tailors the treatment approach to meet the needs of each unique individual. She is passionate about continuing to work with patients of all ages and needs, with specific interest in how both developmental and unplanned life transitions can prompt mental health struggles.
