As a social worker, Kylie is passionate about working with individuals across the lifespan. She provides holistic, individualized care for children, adolescents, adults, and families. Kylie is especially interested in working with individuals with a history of trauma, mood disorders, and autism. Kylie also helps clients build resources to cope with aspects such as anxiety and life transitions. Finally, Kylie has experience working as a clinician in an out-of-district school for residential and day students with special educational needs, a social work position which allowed her to advocate for students with IEP plans, autism, ADHD, and long-standing histories of trauma.
Since 2013, Kylie has practiced as an inpatient Registered Nurse. Kylie has worked in a COVID-19 field hospital during the peak of the pandemic in Massachusetts, so she is very familiar with the present-day impact that the pandemic has on individuals and families. As a result, Kylie is able to weave her nursing experience into her social work practice to support individuals and families coping with chronic and terminal illnesses. On a similar note, she has experience practicing compassionate, complex end-of-life care in various inpatient hospital settings. As such, Kylie can be a calming, grounding presence wherever you are in your life at this tumultuous time, especially as children transition into this unprecedented 2020-2021 school year.
Finally, Kylie has also spent years as a national public speaker and advocate for sexual assault victims, sparking her interest in helping high school and college-aged individuals find their voice after being impacted by sexual violence.
